Who we are?

The Digital Democracy Project is a nonpartisan nonprofit building tools that give everyday people a direct voice in the legislative process. We believe democracy works best when it’s transparent, participatory, and powered by the people it serves.

What do we do?

We create secure, user-friendly technology that lets people vote on real legislation and see how their views align with elected officials. By bridging the gap between citizens and lawmakers, we make government more transparent, accountable, and responsive.

Why fund our work?

Your support helps fuel a secure, nonpartisan mobile platform that empowers everyday voters to “vote” on the same bills as their representatives—strengthening transparency and accountability in real time. By funding this innovation, you ensure more voices are heard, legislators are held to public will, and democracy becomes more inclusive and responsive.

How do we measure success?

We measure impact by the number of voters enrolled in our project, which currently has 24,000. Our mission is to have millions of voters, in all 50 States, telling their legislators how to vote on the legislation that affects our lives.

Where do we work?

We are a National network of partners from across the country who are working in all states.

Why are we featured in Measurement and Tech?

Mobile voting is an inherently disruptive technology, because it allows voters to engage with their government whenever and wherever they like. We are using this technology to allow voters a level of access, accountability, and transparency that was previously impossible without this secure, scalable, and unhackable voting system.
