Who we are?
We All Deserve A World Where Everyone Can Thrive. No Exceptions.
Stories Change Power trains individuals and organizations to be effective, empathetic, and trusted advocates. We support people who want to make a difference in their neighborhoods, communities, and country through workshops, coaching, and learning communities.
Good ideas and smart research don't effortlessly become good laws and smart policies.
We must use our voices, our stories, and our power to persuade those who can implement the change we wish to see in the world.
What do we do?
Good ideas and smart research don't effortlessly become good laws and smart policies.
We must use our voices, our stories, and our power to persuade those who can implement the change we wish to see in the world.
From decades of experience, we know that advocacy efforts are only as effective as the advocates involved.
That's why we created Stories Change Power.
We provide training, workshops, and coaching to equip people to be effective, empathetic, and trusted advocates.
Knowing the value of democracy and dangers of divisiveness, we build bridges and nurture trust.
Why fund our work?
At Stories Change Power, we want this next initial growth and subsequent decline of an existing system to be the one where advocates are so effective they achieve their goals of laws, policies, and systems that work for everyone.
How do we measure success?
We measure success through our anonymized pre-, during, and post-surveys which incorporate SCIM questions.
Where do we work?
We are a National network of partners from across the country who are working in all states.
Why are we featured in Strengthening Civic Spaces?
Our work may overlap with several focus areas but seems most suited for civic spaces and building civic muscle, including via cross-cultural learning.
